    Hey Canada! On Sunday, December 10, 2017, let’s skate from coast to coast to coast! We are at home on the ice so let’s lace up together to enjoy our favourite winter activity and to celebrate the completion of the Canada 150 year.

    Canadian Heritage invites communities across the country to join together in a nationwide skating party!

    The Canada 150 Skating Day, for Newfoundland, will be held at Mile One Centre on December 10th, from 2 pm – 4 pm!

    NHL Legends put the Christmas Kettle on in Support of the Salvation Army!


    Thursday, December 14th at Mile One Centre 7:30pm

    On Thursday, December 14th, The NHL Legends Tour proudly presents one of most Historic & Intense on-ice rivalry’s in Hockey history.

    Ray Bourque and his Boston Bruins Alumni will face off against John Leclair and the Habs Alumni, for only the 4th time in their alumni careers, right here in St. John’s, NL.

    The two all-star lineups are filled with some of hockey’s greatest players such as Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque, Terry O’Reilly & Rick Middleton will lead the B’s to the ice, followed by Al Lafrate, Ken Linseman, Bob Sweeney, Andrew Alberts, Andrew Raycroft & others!


    The Habs boast All-star John Leclair, Stephane Richer, Chris ” Knuckles” Nilan, Darren Langdon, Steve Penney, Mike Lalor, Gary Leeman, Alain Cote & Lucien Deblois!

    While the Legends may have left their all-star hockey play in the past, this Legends game promises to be an intense on-ice battle for the ultimate bragging rights between two of hockey’s finest clubs. The Blood still boils between these two foes ….make no mistake, not much has changed over the years …neither team wants to lose! Come out and support your favorite team and catch some of your childhood heroes relive their playing days in their third and final game of the Atlantic Canada tour.
